Danish Brewery of the Year 2019! 

Åben is just a little over to years old but has already taken Denmark by storm, made Danish Brewery of the Yearfor 2019. They are located in a barn in Kolding where Philip Hulgaard and Johannes Kartoft started in 2017. Philip makes the brew while Johannes grows the malt they use.

Their beer selection is mostly hop focused beers in numerous variations, but one may also find the occasional stouts and acidic beers with fruits and berries. We have tasted a few of them and can guarantee craftsmanship of the highest order.
